This option will result in the multi-select box displaying a list of Organization Codes.  All projects that are currently associated with a particular Project Organization will be included in the multi-select box output.

This option controls whether inactive projects will be included in the multi-select box if the user filters this field.  

Each Project Status has an Active indicator.  Choosing to include inactive projects will include any projects that have a status that is defined as being inactive.

This option is not available if you select the Show Org Codes in filter only option.

Note: this option only affects the values displayed in the filtered multi-select box.  There may be stand alone Active/Inactive check boxes to govern overall report output (in terms of active and inactive project inclusion).

When this option is selected, all other check box option are disabled, as well as the ability to selectively pick and choose individual entries from the resulting filtered result set.  The default display of <All Projects>  will be replaced with an <All Projects Matching Filter> label.

You can continue to supply filter criteria, but you will not see specific matching results listed nor will you be able to further specify a sub-set of those results (by Ctrl-clicking).  

Should you desire to see what matches your filter criteria (as of the current time), you can always un-check this option, execute your filter to review what currently matches the criteria, and if suitable, you could then re-check this option (which would again hide the matching results and simply display the <All Projects Matching Filter> label.

The purpose of this option is to allow you to provide criteria that will be re-examined each time this report is run, and return results for any projects that match the criteria (as of run time).  This may be particularly useful if you save criteria but would like the query to return results for any projects matching your criteria (even if they were added to the system after you originally saved the criteria details).

Projects matching the criteria will include both Active and Inactive projects.

This feature was also provided to help offer a work around to a known database parameter limit issue which would only allow a certain number of parameters to be passed to a sql statement.  For installations having thousands of matching results, they may have run into this limitation.  An option such as this, essentially eliminates the need to pass many individual project key parameters and instead pass a single clause that instructs the query to find any values that currently match the criteria.

When entering filter criteria, the result set will include entries that match the first X characters entered in the filter criteria. The following characters can be entered as wild cards in the search selection criteria for certain fields:

• % -- (percent sign) this character will match any number of characters --- for example: %net would match "Unanet", "Network", and "Basketball Net".  By default, the % sign is appended (but not displayed) to all entered filter criteria.  Thus entering "Una" alone or entering "Una%", would match: Unanet, UnaTime, Una$ense and UnaSource.

• _ -- (underscore) this character will match any one character -- for example: X_Z would match "XYZ" and "XBZ" -- but not "XABZ"

• You can also use a combination of these characters for complex matching --- for example:  U_an% would match Unanet

Note that you may also specify more than one filter criteria by entering a comma separated list in the filter text box.
